Research Analyst
Katherine Connolly is a research analyst in the education program area at Child Trends. Prior to joining Child Trends, she worked with the Consortium for Policy Research in Education to create a comprehensive culturally responsive schooling rubric and toolkit for school leaders, teachers, parents, and students. Katherine obtained her MSEd in education policy from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and her BA in urban studies and French from the University of Pennsylvania.
Katherine has a strong interest and expertise in educational program evaluation. While an undergraduate student, Katherine was a research assistant for the Division of Teaching & Learning at the Public Health Management Corporation, working on a variety of program evaluations and honing her research and data skills. She is particularly passionate about family and community involvement in schools, culturally responsive schooling, equity in urban education, digital access in schools, and teacher rights.
